Collective Appeal

Dear Friends,

At DML Co-op, we’re not just envisioning change; we’re actively cultivating it. We have been dedicated to crafting pathways for our community members to reshape their lives for years. But we can’t do it alone. We’re urgently reaching out to you for support in raising a seed amount of $2 million.

Our intergenerational group is committed to healing and empowerment. Having put our hearts on the line for justice, we’re now ready to channel our collective wisdom into action. By braiding our ancestral and collective wisdom, we aim to provide vital services to Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color communities and workers needing restoration and reparations.

The initiatives we’re developing, including wellness retreats, study abroad programs, and innovative insurance models, are designed to uplift and empower. Over the past four years, we’ve invested $2 million worth of sweat equity in labor, honing our skills and preparing to make a meaningful impact. This $2 million raise is to provide rest and reparations for our co-op members while we conduct the necessary research and development to launch a pilot of our offerings. We invite you to join us in supporting our cause financially.

Of this collective goal, each of the Worker Owners is personally committing to initially raise $50,000 from our personal networks, for an initial $350,000 first round raise beginning Summer Solstice June 21, 2024 and and going as long as needed to reach this goal this year, marking 12 years anniversary of Sweet Livity’s community service.

Your contribution will not only provide security, rest, and resources for our collective, but it will also directly enable us to extend our spaces to those seeking rest and restoration. Your support is crucial in making this possible. No donation is too small or too large. What matters most is your support of our vision.

Our mission is crystal clear: to empower and advocate for the social, economic, and political liberation of BIPOC social justice workers, regardless of background. Join us in watering the seeds of change. This Road to Liberation begins with us, unapologetically.

Warm regards,

Dandelion Medicine Liberation Worker Owners
